The Invicta brand that we know today came from a buyout of the name in 1991. However, that company also went bankrupt. Production at that point moved from La Chaud-de-Fonds to Bielle, Switzerland.
The company went bankrupt in the 1980s and sold to a group called Ondix S.A. Invicta watches was originally started in 1837 by Raphael Picard in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
